Gabe Garcia joined Morris & Garritano as Chief Financial Officer in 2010, bringing with him decades of experience. A San Luis Obispo native, Gabe has lived and worked in Southern California and on the East Coast with some time spent abroad in Russia and Turks & Caicos before ultimately returning home to the Central Coast.

Gabe is deeply involved with his community currently serving as a Reach Board Member and is an active contributor to prominent industry associations including Marsh Berry Connect and the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers. Since becoming a parent, Gabe’s focused shifted to youth development with board membership of various youth organizations, or through coaching of several local youth sports teams.   

Gabe graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Accounting concentration from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. He later earned a Master of Business Taxation from the University of Southern California. Gabe is also a licensed CPA.

Whether it be through acquisitions or finding top talent and providing the tools to help them flourish, Gabe feels most accomplished in his work when he has been able to play a part in his team’s growth.

Outside the office, Gabe keeps fit and heathy either by hitting the gym to lift weights or through long distance running. Over the years, he has completed dozens of organized races including the Boston Marathon and ultra-trail marathons with distances up to 100 miles. Additionally, he loves spending time outdoors with his family, hiking, camping, and traveling the world together.
