As Chief Executive Officer, Brendan Morris places a focus on both community and industry involvement. Now over 28 years into a career that traces the footsteps of his father and grandfather, Brendan has united Morris & Garritano’s rich history with advancing technologies, strategies, and ideas to create a company that is always improving and continually delivering services that exceed client expectations.
Brendan oversees the corporate strategy, ensuring that the actions of the agency reflect its overall mission and core values. On a local level, this includes involvement with the business community through organizations such as the San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria Chambers of Commerce, as well as supporting numerous non-profits and charities throughout San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties. Nationally, Brendan has established Morris & Garritano as a key contributor to industry networks: MarshBerry, Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of California, and The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers.
Under his direction, Morris & Garritano has garnered acclaim as a leader in the insurance industry, earning a position in Inc. 5000’s Fastest Growing Companies, being named Insurance Journal’s Best Agency to Work for in the Nation, and ranking #1 on the Pacific Coast Business Times Best Places to Work on the Central Coast.
Brendan earned his Finance degree from Santa Clara University and serves as the President of its Central Coast Alumni Chapter. He has been honored in the Pacific Coast Business Times’ 40 Under 40, the Tribune’s Top 20 Under 40, and currently serves on the Agency Advisory Council for Liberty Mutual.
